The proper mindset is probably THE MOST IMPORTANT thing when building a business. Weather it is Peoplestring or ANY other type of business. The old saying “If you think you can, you can…if you don’t you won’t” is very true. Learn your business. Get the tools you need. ASK for the help you need. Stay connected with like minded people. Go to the webinars etc… Above everything else BELIEVE that you are succeeding. Not sometime in the future, but NOW. See the end from the beginning. That way if you have a small set back or things don’t grow as quickly as you would like them to grow, you won’t get flustered. Because you already know the end of the story!

plus it feels awesome when you are above and beyond your end result

Im also very involved with peoplestring myself and I do have a goal
right now its to get 1000 directs by the end of June 2010
my frist goal was back in Nov 2009 was to get 45 or 50 directs by Dec 31st which I ended up with 66 directs awesome see how good that feels nice
gotta love it guys so get locked into all the training you can stay close to the webinars and build a large string most of all duplicate and teach your string to do the same thing,,,,,,,,,,,,Tim entrepreneur peoplestring

I just try to make real friends and they joined. I am very consistent with my marketing. My advice would be to just use the website the same way you use the other social websites! I’m glad you like the website and I would love to help you and be your mentor!

I am using the Peoplestring web site constantly when I am online. I do everything from this social portal. I have been participating in the forums and my PS Friend base is growing because of this participation.
I am building a friends list on facebook & twitter. I have just started my first blog. I am trying to bring value to my content wherever I may post.
I will keep scanning this learning center for more information daily.
I would appreciate any advice on anything else you think I should be doing.

I think you should keep doing what you are doing, but do it just to have fun and the money will come. I think to many people are so focused on the money that they have forgotten that PeopleString is a social network. Think 2yrs from now and if you are still doing what you are doing then you will be making plenty of money.

The mindset is most important. Too many people start a home based business, such a networking, and treat it as a hobby. A business needs to be treated as a business in order to reap the benefits of a business. A business takes work, dedication and perseverance.
PS is such ‘fun’.
