PeopleString FAQ (Cashback Shopping)

PeopleString offers great cashback shopping deals from several stores that we all know, love and trust. Everything is broken down by category to make it very easy to find the stores that you want to shop at and save money.  PeopleString also pays you when a percentage of the cashback that your referral receive when they shop.  Here are some basic FAQ to help you better understand how the cashback shopping works!

Why are the rebates different?

Each retailer that participates in the program has negotiated a marketing agreement with PeopleString, which determines the rebate offered along with any restrictions that may apply. (Travel, Special Category Items, Etc)

When do I get paid?

In similar fashion to mail-in rebates the times can vary by retailer, however, online rebates typically appear as soon a 2-4 days after the item has shipped or up to 30 days. (traditionally quicker than the normal 4-8 weeks for mail-in rebates)

When should I contact Support if I have not received my rebate?

Since the programs vary among the 100 of participating retailers, we ask that you wait a minimum of 30 days before contacting PeopleString Support. At which time we ask that you provide purchase details for the transaction in question.

Why does the percentage say ‘Up to ___%’?

The published rate for each retailer is an average rate based upon the rates for different categories of merchandise, as provided by the retailer per the marketing agreement.

Why are there Flat Fees for Travel?

Even though the retailer may offer up to ___%, most travel retailers only offer a flat fee based upon the type of ticket purchased. You are advised to review these restrictions prior to making a purchase. Please refer to any restrictions and or descriptions appearing on the People String Home page for each retailer.

   I have earned 200 points by direct referrals according to the statement. When I am eligible to receive my earning, I mean how many points I need to achieve in order to get payment…? ZAFAR
