Rising Star: Ken Sayar

Rising Star: Ken Sayar

My PeopleString story is simple. The fact that I recently retired from a career in the US Army had me looking online for a second career.  I quickly recognized the vast array of garbage on the web that promises the world for ‘only a one-time payment with a credit card.’ Recognizing that online ‘opportunities’ are a dime a dozen, I spent little care or time at all the offers that flooded my email account daily.

Then one day in March 09, I received an email from the programmers of BigString.com, my then primary email account that pitched an ‘opportunity’.  As mentioned once I read that making money was involved, I deleted it without looking twice. A month later I received a similar email but from The BigString CEO Darin Myman.  I read this one closer and decided that since there was nothing to lose and all the great email features with BigString were also available with PeopleString, I jumped onboard using the same user name I had with BigString, as Ken.

After one webinar and one week of kicking the tires of the portal back then I saw the potential, became PeopleString brain damaged and promptly upgraded to Entrepreneur.

Now having no ready list on hand to convert legions of people, I set out from scratch to build my String. Sending out a personal invite to friends and family, and posting a note on the cigar forum I frequented then.  In record time I became NFL, no friends left, because of the same reasons why I shunned ‘opportunities’ in the first place.

So my efforts moved to look for people who are looking for me.  I purchased thousands of business cards, Mailbox-Cashbox cards, Black Grape cards, 42 web domains,  and decaled the back windshield of my Jeep Grand Cherokee with five different domains over eight months; co-hosted an hour on my local talk radio station discussing everything PeopleString.  I even registered my Jeep with a PeopleString license plate.

My daily activities are to pass out cards at every opportunity and to post teasers on Twitter, Facebook, and other online forums. Gently spreading the word because there is nothing to sell so why pressure anyone?  Take a fun, easy approach to sharing PeopleString and it will take on its own.  Building your String should be a steady activity you take part in every day. Ask yourself, “What have I done to share PeopleString today?” Your answer could very well explain the growth of your String.

In closing, I tell all my Stringers to simply focus on growing their first String at all costs. I call this level the MoneyString, because free and Entrepreneur account members receive 5% and 20% commissions respectively from PeopleString.  The commissions drop to 2% and 6% respectively from there on, so that is why I advise my personal Stringers to work their first Strings with a passion and to have them focus their new Stringers to do the same.

These strategies have helped me have a great time and build my string to over 300 direct members, which quickly has grown to close to 2000 total members and 24 total entrepreneurs. I am here to stay with PeopleString and I look forward to the future.  If you would like to learn more about my PeopleString experience you can visit my blog by clicking the link below.
