The Power Of Goal Setting
Setting goals in my opinion is one of the most important things you must do, not only in business but also in life. Their are some basic strategies to setting goals that I wanted to share with you. I have found in my years of being in this industry that most people don’t set goals because they don’t believe they will truly reach them. Believe it or not but there is a right and wrong way to set goals. If you were to set what I call SMART goals you would 9 times out of 10 reach every goal that you set for yourself.
The wrong way to set goals is to set a goal with no idea on what it is exactly going to take to reach that goal. For example, Most people in the home business industry set a goal like I want to make 10K per month. There are several problems with setting goals like this. Most people have no experience in the industry and have no idea what it takes to make money let alone 10K per month. You must figure out how much product must be sold to reach that goal. You must find out how many people you must personally recruit. You must figure out the most effective way to reach that goal based on your companies commission structure.
When all of these things are determined your goals must be set according true facts of your situation. Once you figure out exactly what it takes you can set goals specific to the task of accomplishing that goal. The important thing to take from this article is to set specific smart goals. Know your expectations and your limitations and you will have a much higher percentage of your goals being met. The reason people fail to reach there goals is either they quit or they didn’t account for the reality factor of the goals that they were setting.
So when it comes to setting goals, set goals specifically to the task at hand. Know exactly what it takes to get to each level and set your goals accordingly. If you want to build a business it’s going to come down to marketing. So set goal to do several marketing task per day rather that goals of how much money you want to make. Chances are if you do your marketing task you will make the money you want to make anyway.

Goal Setting…The FIRST CAUSE!
To start ANYTHING in motion or Create anything in our lives, it Must begin as a Thought. That thought is like a seed that we plant. The more we think about it, the more it grows. Decide What you Want. What your Goal is…Even If you have NO Idea how it will ever come to pass. Think big…then revise it and think even bigger! Your goal will be the CAUSE that will produce the Effect(circumstance or thing desired). Hold onto your Goal and think and act as if it is already Done. This will put you in a new and prosperous mindset that will attract the necessary people & event to bring your Goal to Pass!
