  1. As far as scams are concerned, they truly exsist. Part of your point was that people are scamed because they themselves do not correctly market the product or business they’re trying to promote. This is true. But also there are scams that are only set up just to take your money to buy into a service or product, and you find that after you’ve paid, somehow the outcome does’nt deliver on the promise.

It would be beneficial if supposedly legits would just be frank and tell the buyer that their programs may or may not work for the average individual.

Vince, you wrote a very interesting article on this important issue of “scams”. I like the video and the bullet points you made. The real deal is, people tend to react instead of respond to things that are new or unfamiliar. Labeling something a scam is an easy way out of making a decision.

  3. Lee,

I was a little nervous when I wrote this article and I want to make it clear that I do not nor do I claim to be an expert on what is or what is not a scam. The point I just wanted to get across is that most things are not a scam. It’s like they say”No Risk No Reward”

The scam or even spam myth! Online Most if not all people whenever approached online on some opportunity to earn, whether bona fide or hyped, the auto response is always a very cautious and guarded one, literally thousands of such messages are published so invariably its not so much the persuasiveness of the add also gut instinct plays a small part, People string is undoubtedly not scam but a lot of members are disoriented as to how best to use the site to their advantage, sometimes too many instructions confuses or complicates it more for certain individuals,i am sure that there are members who know how to navigate their way around and thus gain an edge, also at same token, there may be members who need to be hand held and lead step by step throughout the earning process..
Confidence in the site is already gained, just tell them what to do next, dont give too many options,confuses..just go like ..OK..now do this ,after a time, now do that..because you need to ..
i for one, will respond well to guided instructions like this till i am familiar and versed in the ways to earning within people string..actually i dont need more convincing as to earning potential,i am already there, just
1 step at a time guidance or directions as to how to go that way.!

    Scams, Scams, Scams.
I’ve been scamed, duped, lied to and taken advantage of.
I don’t hold it in my head as a way to justify my life being a financial failure.
What is a scam? My very personal take:
    1. Anytime a product/service is advertised/promoted as being able to deliver a certain result but it doesn’t, and the promoters know, I consider it a scam.
    2. Anytime the price of said product/service is set not according to what the competition is doing but rather according to how many people will hope to make money from the opp, I consider it a scam.

When it comes to MLMs, I don’t consider all scams. But I see some where the entry and/or monthly expense is just outregeous, simply based on what the creators consider fair, not what the market can support. Nowadays, if I’m asked to pony up more than a few hundred, I’m very wary of the idea. If I wouldn’t pay for the product/service without the opp to make money attached to it, then I stay away from it. I tell you, some of them can’t be consider anything other than scams.
